- 'Harami Nala' is a sluggish and shallow water channel in the sir creek area from where the Border Security Force reports cases os seizure of Pakistani Fishermen or abandoned boats.
- 22 km long channel corkscrewing through Pak, India and a section of the 96 km long disputed sir creek.
- Gets its name because of its a heaven for infiltrators and smugglers; notorious for changing its course tidally and seasonally.
- Pak terrorists alleged to have seized Indian fishing boat 'Kuber' off sir creek, to strike Mumbai in 2008.
- Abandoned Pak boats regularly seized from here.
- Fishing is banned, but the channel, with lots of prawns and red salmon, is a favourite of Pak and Indian fisherman.
