What The Survey Found

• It had a total of 1.9 Lakh responses from nearly 81,000 unique respondents in 248 districts across 20 Indian states.

India's Most Corrupt States

1. Rajasthan - 78%
2. Bihar - 75%
3. Jharkhand - 74% 
4. Uttar Pradesh - 74%
5. Telangana - 74%
6. Punjab - 63%
7. Karnataka - 63%
8. Tamil Nadu - 62%.

• Kerala is one of the least corrupt Indian States, where only 10% of people admitted to paying a bribe.
• Besides Kerala, Goa, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Haryana and Delhi are the least corrupt states
• 51% of citizens paid a bribe in the last 12 months; property registration, police and municipality top areas where bribes are demanded.
